Interesting Year So Far

There is an old Chinese curse that goes something like, “May you lead an interesting life.” In Star Trek that became a Klingon curse, and I guess it works no matter the source. Blog posts to the new site have been slow, and that is because this year has been ‘interesting’ so far, and not in the best way.

As some of you may be aware my father, Robert F. O’Connor, recently passed away after being diagnosed with cancer earlier in the year. Between being busy with projects (which I will add to the site soon), being down in Kentucky to be with my dad and mom while he was still well, to being there to help near the end, and being there to lay him to rest, I have not much energy to dedicate to the blog here or at www.mastering-mentalray.com. With the coming of spring it feels like a new beginning in many ways, and with the upcoming release of Max 2012 there are more things to write about and share with my readers.

Thank you to all that expressed condolences, and may you have a less interesting year.

New Project with Chipman-Adams

4D Artists, Inc. is working on a new high-profile project for Chipman-Adams for one of their clients in the Chicago area. We can’t share the details at this point, but are proud to be a trusted partner with Chipman in producing their images and animations.

New Site is Up

The site has been reworked, and is currently under construction. The exiting pages have been ported over, but there are still some formatting issues and a few things that need to be redone. Be patient; it will come together quickly and I’ll be adding a lot of new images to the new gallery.
